A Visit To Hell

Struggles around the world continue to mount. All eyes have been on Israel and Hamas as they do battle over the real estate known as the Gaza Strip. Death and destruction continue to display its ugly face as both soldiers, civilians, children die on both sides of the conflict. Interestingly enough, a passageway into Israel has been named Armageddon Valley, the place where some believe that an end times battle will occur between the great armies existing on the earth. What is it that makes Muslim and Jews have such a need to destroy each other? Why is it that they fight? The answer has to do with property. Both the Jewish and Muslim faith believe that the real estate in Israel is the most holy of land for both religions. Both sides are more than willing to die in order to protect this most precious of land.

While this particular section of real estate is important to both Jews and Muslim, other local real estate has caught the eye of the superpowers existing on our planet. These large nations, supported by armies with high-tech weaponry, have their eye on the oil fields existing in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. At this time, these powerful nations choose to simply purchase the fossil fuel that exists in their ground. As the supply runs short, this fuel supply will become even more vital and will signal a need to protect the remaining fuel. It is likely that wars will occur, with both sides believing that the fuel is an excellent reason to fight. The greatest issue that now exists is nuclear weapons and chemical warfare. With so many 3rd world countries having possession of nuclear bombs and weapons of mass destruction (poison gas, dirty bombs, designer diseases and sicknesses), it appears we will soon see these weapons being used in the name of protecting these existing fuel sources from being taken by other aggressive nations.

Interestingly enough, this would then place large armies in one of the most volatile places on the earth. Any nation controlling this vast source of fuel would certainly have advantages that few other nations could match. Are we yet facing a time when the leaders of our great nations would be willing to sacrifice countless lives in order to have control of this land? Could it be that oil will soon become more precious than gold?

The world economy is struggling greatly. At first, people will simply fear the unknown; losing their job, home, and failing to provide food for their families. After the fear passes, desperate and hungry people are ready to fight. Death begins to appear as a better solution than watching the ones you love die a little more each day. When enough people feel this way, war is inevitable! Will this be the war that brings nuclear destruction to our planet?

Scripture tells us from the book of Genesis that God promised man that the earth would no longer be destroyed by flood. Scripture tells us that the rainbow is the sign that God has sent us to help us remember this covenant. Is fire going to be the next means of destruction? If we simply look around at the events of our world today, fire does seem to be a possibility. Will the next big world conflict become a visit to hell? Only time will tell.

Inauguration Day

posted by admin in Uncategorized, 21 January 2009

On this January 21, 2009, the United States of America welcomes the very first black president in the history of our great country! Citizens must lay aside their prejudices and anxious feelings to allow President-Elect Obama to have our trust and support in order to extend an opportunity to our new president to take the reins of our economically struggling country. We must use this opportunity to gain a fresh look and new insight to our world’s issues we now face and must somehow gain control of these great challenges.

At this time, I would like all readers to take a moment and pray for our newly elected president. Ask that God give him the strength to lead us back from the corruption and depravity that has shown its desire to rein in our country. Pray that God’s anointing flows through him and extends to all of his chosen cabinet leaders. Give to our new president the ability to somehow bring peace to the Middle East and ease the heavy hearts of those who suffered loss during these most trying times. Allow our new president to bring an end to the nuclear threats that threaten the very existence of our planet. Anoint President Obama with the ability to understand the complexity of the world-wide economic struggle, and bring prosperity back to our country. Bring full employment back to our nation!

Take a moment and remember that a person’s color does not change what a person thinks and feels. Give all your support to our new president and allow him to guide us all in the most trying times. If our country does not join together and work as a team, we will endure further hardships and struggles until we start working together again….”One nation, under God…”. We must forget the past and move forward choosing the path less traveled; The path of righteousness, forgiveness, giving, sharing, and praying daily! Let us start this very day to break the mold of hatred and unforgiveness, and set a new standard guided by love and compassion for each other. The U.S.A. needs a new dawn…let this dawn begin this day!

Praise God and thank him for all of his mercy that he exhibits to us daily!

The Ripple Effect

posted by admin in Christian Lesson, 12 January 2009

By Robert Czaplinsky

Have you ever tossed a stone in a still pool of water? At first, the water surface is still and smooth. When the stone breaks the surface of the water, a single ripple appears. This ripple is circular in shape and starts small, but continues to grow. The ripple does not come to a halt until the entire pool of water has been affected by this disturbance in the water.

Thoughts and ideas are like ripples. When a person grasps a new thought or idea, a ripple-like effect begins in one’s mind, and does not come to a halt until all other thoughts have been exposed to this ‘ripple’. Each and every thought and idea that crossed through our minds has a profound effect on everything we internalize as our own. Changes may be made as to how we think and act based on every single ‘ripple’ we experience during each day of our lives.

All of our actions and interactions also are subject to the ‘ripple effect’. Every word we speak and every interaction we experience with others create the ‘ripple’ effect in other minds. We are directly responsible for exposing others to things that we accept as our own. The effect of this is so great that the possibility exists that we can change everything about the people we interact with.

WHAT A REPSONSIBILITY WE HAVE!

As Christians, if we mix our personal thoughts that are not related to the ‘Word’ with the direction we receive directly from the ‘Word’, we have created an unstable thought base for ourselves. This ‘unstable base’ is then shared with others, and can create instability in them as well as in us. Your ‘ripple effect’ causes great harm to those who are not completely grounded in the ‘Word’ of God.

This may be a subtle effect, but it can be a powerful influence over others. You may like to give yourself credit for sharing the gospel with others, but how many times have you verbally shared or interacted in less than a Christian manner?

When you look at the over-all picture, think about how many people in our world interact with other people. (another way the ‘ripple effect’ works in life) Your one negative word or action could ultimately influence thousands or even millions of people. Lives can be changed because of you alone!

Every word or action by each one of us has a profound effect on everyone else. The effects can be either positive or negative. Always be on alert to guard against the negative influence, because the negative effect never stops with you alone.

WHAT YOU SAY AND DO NEVER AFFECTS ONLY YOU.

THIS IS WHY JESUS LIVED THE PERFECT LIFE.

DO NOT LOSE WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN TO THE UNSEEN INFLUENCE.

USE THE BIBLE TO SHAPE ALL OF YOUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS!

Prayer Chain for Revival

posted by admin in Uncategorized, 06 January 2009

Email: robert.czaplinski@yahoo.com

The thought has occurred to me that although many of us tell others that we are Christians, words are not enough. What actions do you take that SHOW you are a Christian? I don’t mean going to church on Sunday, or holding a door for someone. I also don’t want to hear that you pray….unless you are praying for the needs of others!! Christianity is about the giving of yourself; a living sacrifice just as Christ gave himself for all of us. We must model our beliefs everyday, and be careful not to be bragging to others or boasting about what you have done. Most importantly, you must seek forgiveness of all your current sin prior to praying, or your prayers go unheard!

I was reading about the Azusa Street Revival, a spiritual awakening that took place about 100 years ago in California. I had heard about the Azusa Street Revival many years ago during one of my visits to Brownsville Assembly of God Church in Pensacola, Florida. I purchased a copy of the Apostolic Faith papers that reported on and documented the miracles that took place as many who prayed asked for a revival, and God delivered!!!!

I WANT TO SEE A REVIVAL SIMILAR TO AZUSA STREET OCCUR AGAIN! IWANT TO BE A PART OF A NEW REVIVAL, AND WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE YOU TO BE A PART OF A NEW REVIVAL!! OUR COUNTRY, AND PEOPLE, NEEDS A REVIVAL NOW!

If we stand together and organize our efforts, we can send a continuous prayer 24 hours, 7 days a week. We can pray for revivals to break out in the United States. We can ask to be a part and to offer ourselves to God to use us in this effort.

I am looking for PRAYER WARRIORS. I need people who are real Christians! I seek your dedication and pure desire to do God’s will. Search your heart…see if this is for you!

HOW CAN I TAKE PART?

The plan is to have everyone interested to pick a time during the week (one hour blocks) and pray for the entire hour. Pray for God’s Spirit to fall upon us, just as in the day of Pentecost. Please read on if this is for you…please don’t take part if you will not follow through.

I will post a schedule below. Each day will be broken into 24-one hour blocks.

Please choose a block and be responsible to help keep our prayer for revival to be non-stop.

I will notify you when you have e-mailed us with your choice of time block.

The site will post periodically what blocks have been filled.

Start praying during your block as soon as you have signed up. It is my goal to have this 24 hour prayer operating within 2-3 weeks.

Back-up prayer warriors will also be needed in the event of someone quitting, or just being unable to prayer for their block during the week. Please let me know if you want to be a back-up.

Please send your name and e-mail to me along with your choice of time.

Remember to first pick a day, and then a time. I’ll be looking to hear from you.

I AM SINCERE IN MY EFFORTS TO TAKE PART IN THIS REVIVAL. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU ARE SINCERE ALSO.

God Bless You!

Babylon the Great

posted by admin in Bible Prophecy, 05 January 2009

By Robert Czaplinsky

For those of us who have been part of a born-again church for most of our life, the story of Armageddon, the Book of Revelation, and end time prophecies are not something we are hearing for the first time. Christians have been on alert since the threats from Russia, wars that the US has participated in, the sudden death of the Pope, the Y2K scare, and now we have the latest battle concerning Gaza. Israel and Palestine are both very serious about what they desire and both sides are willing to die to have what they want. It is no secret that the most famous battle of the book of Revelation takes place in the Valley of Armageddon; the very name of the valley just outside of Israel.

Now we have the issue of the fall of Babylon the Great. As we look around, the US has already fallen in a number of areas: economics, morality, spirituality, trust, Christian beliefs, and now the atheists want ‘God’ removed from the Presidential Inauguration. We are now a country that honors the minority, but not the majority. We are being torn into little pieces and have forgotten that unity succeeds and separation fails!

The US Constitution states that all presidents must be born in the US. Why then has this clause been overlooked for Mr. Obama? Not only is this clause not being honored, but many of our highest officials are ignoring this part of our law. When our laws are capable of being ignored by our own lawmakers, what is the statement that is being made to the public? Our country is in very serious condition when the people voted into office ignore the very foundation that our nation has been built upon.

As we all should be aware, every great nation throughout history has fallen, and it looks as if our country is next! Scandals and graft are rampant among those who now lead our once glorious nation, and those who can stop these unforgiveable acts are the same people who are now committing these acts. Since they legally represent us (and our nation), how can their be law when the lawless are the leaders? Babylon the Great is ready to fall! Be ready to feel the pain that comes from the collapse of a once great nation. Life is no longer going to be what we have become accustomed to. Make arrangements to exist without a central government insuring a smooth interaction between towns, cities, states, and other countries. The pain and the suffering that is about to part of all of our lives is about to become a reality.
