In this day we live in where people are talking about being politically correct and let’s not offend anyone there has been a group that wants less said about the violence and especially the blood shed in the Bible. There has even been less teaching and preaching about the blood. Even the songs about the power of the blood or the blood shed for me are not as popular today. This is another attack on the Body of Christ by the devil to keep us ignorant of the importance of the blood covenant between God and the man Jesus so that we would not be aware of the power of this powerful covenant we have become a part of through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said in
Matt 11:6
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
The Apostle Paul said :
Gal 5:11
And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
1 Cor 1:17-18
For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
( 18 ) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

You are driving down a city street and you see that the posted speed limit is 35 mph. You then glance at your speedometer and notice that your current speed is 40 mph. Immediately you think: ‘I don’t think I will get a ticket for this because I’m close enough to the legal speed limit and won’t be bothered by law enforcement’.
You show up at work about 2 minutes late. Since you do not punch in on a time clock, you sign in at the proper time, and not at the time that you actually arrived. After some thought, you justify your action and determine that you were 5-6 minutes early on the preceding day, so that covers for your being 2 minutes late today.
In part 1 we said that understanding the covenant that God has made with man through the Lord Jesus Christ is crucial to the faith of a believer. It is a covenant made by the shedding of blood and is a solemn and unbreakable agreement between God and man. It is forever binding and is the reason we as Christians can rely on God to keep His promises to us. This is an agreement of the most serious nature and to break a blood covenant is punishable by death.
Most Christians lead a compromising life that violates the covenant between them and God. God keeps His part of the covenant, but we fall far short. In order for us not to fall short and to stop the compromise in our lives, having a good understanding of the blood covenant is important and vital to us as Christians. The promises of God that we all have need of are part of the provisions of the blood covenant. God has provided healing, protection, provision, and much more as part of the blood covenant. He didn’t have to do this, He chose to. If you understand that the promises of God are part of the blood covenant, you don’t have to try to get them from God, He has already provided them for you. He has done all He has to do as far as meeting your needs, the rest is up to you in meeting the conditions of the covenant to receive the promises of the covenant.
God made it clear to us in his Word that we must serve God, and God alone. As we pass through our earthly life span, it has become abundantly clear to me that there are 2 types of people: 1) those that care about people, and 2) those who place the highest value on possessions and money. Yes, there are a select few who actually do both, but even those who fall into the third group have a priority in either Group #1 or Group #2. My thoughts today are centered on why certain things happen to each one of us and why life is the way that it is!
My first clue is in the way God would have us approach praying. Before God is willing to forgive us of our indiscretions, he demands that we forgive others of their sinful actions against us. We must be forgiving before we can be forgiven! God treats us exactly as we would first treat others.

God in His mercy towards us has winked at the way man has done their part but the time has come that instead of the Redeemer walking amongst us, we now have the Judge. If we are to walk with God as He has intended by this covenant, then we need to have a good understanding of what this blood covenant is.

Now we as a nation have violated this covenant and have kicked God out of our schools, government, and the nation as a whole which is why there has been murder in the schools, the government is failing and will continue to fail, they can’t bail us out. THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
In Congress, July 4, 1776
“ We hold these truths to be self – evident : that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. “
[ The Resolution adopted by Congress in 1774 simply stated, “ life, liberty, and property.” The change from property to happiness was an enlargement on the idea of property. ]
America is a story of the Covenant relationship with God and the American people. This nation, its republican institutions, economic prosperity and individual liberty can only be attributed to the hand of God and the covenant between our founders and their Creator.
