THE LORD’S PRAYER Part 7 (IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN)
Matt 6:9-13
(9) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
(10) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
(11) Give us this day our daily bread.
(12) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
(13) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Thy will be done IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN is a calling for what has been previously prayed to be made manifest in us and upon the earth. The beginning part of “The Lord’s Prayer” has been primarily revelation and an inward transformation in us. Revelation of God as “Our Father” provides us with the power and authority of relationship. Revelation of “which art in heaven” provides us location, position, and that the kingdom of heaven is within us as well as being indwelt by the Living God. Revelation of “hallowed be thy name” reveals God’s covenant names and His character and nature as well as His great and precious promises to us and how through worship that brings us into praise which God inhabits and brings us into a spiritual manifestation of God’s presence with us. Revelation of “Thy kingdom come” reveals to us the nature of the kingdom, God’s reign and rule and for those conditions to prevail in us and in the earth. And a revelation of “Thy will be done” is a calling for and the knowledge and understanding of the plans and purposes of God to be fulfilled in us. . We may better understand it this way: “Thy kingdom come” in earth, as it is in heaven. “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
All of what we have prayed and meditated before we are now to call into manifestation in the earth, just as it is in heaven. It is a desire for the conditions of heaven to replace the ungodly things in the earth. We can see this in the life of Jesus.
John 6:38
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done was made manifest in Jesus who came down from heaven to do the will of the Father. Jesus was the will of God in earth, as it is in heaven. Just as Jesus was the will of God in the earth, so we also are to have the will of God made manifest in us and in the earth. I like how the Apostle Paul said it.
Gal 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Now if I have Christ living in me then the kingdom and the will of God should be done in me and through me in earth as it is in heaven. How we need to get the revelation of this. How the revelations of the first part of The Lord’s Prayer can be manifested in earth as it is in heaven. Whenever we pray that is just what we are asking for, in earth as it is in heaven. This also connects with the keys of the kingdom.
Matt 16:16-19
(16) And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
(17) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
(18) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
(19) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
By revelation through the spirit Peter became blessed. And by revelation of Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God that the church is built. Through revelation we can bind on earth and it is bound in heaven or we can loose on earth and it is loosed in heaven.
Matt 18:18-20
(18) Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
(19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
(20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Again we see the principle of binding and loosing and connected to the prayer of agreement with the promise of Jesus in the midst of them. But the binding and loosing and the prayer of agreement must be done in the understanding of Kingdom rules and Thy Will Be Done or you are outside of the authority of God and may be wondering why your prayers are hindered.
1 John 5:14-15
(14) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
(15) And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
In our prayers, binding and loosing, prayers of agreement it must be done according to the will of God if He is to hear us. If we ask outside of God’s will the only answer we will get from God is an answer of correction and guidance to what His will is and we have to have hears to hear and willing to repent and follow God’s plan. This is why The Lord’s Prayer helps you to know the will of God so you can do it.
God wants us to experience the kingdom of heaven in our lives on earth and to walk in His blessings because He loves us and that the world may see the glory of God in us and also believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Cor 4:6-7
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Knowing that the kingdom on God is within us and that we are earthen vessels the power of God flows through us and outwardly to manifest in our lives. IN EARTH ( in earthen vessels, us, and in the world ) AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
GOD LOVES YOU
If you haven’t made Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour I would like to encourage you to do so. ( Romans 10:13 ) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Pray this prayer God in heaven, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for my sin and was raised on the third day. I repent of my sins and receive Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Lord Jesus come into my heart and make me a child of God. Thank You Lord. Amen. Note: All scripture references are from the King James Bible
